An Emergency Token is a nominal recharge token issued on credit and used for interim relief in an emergency situation. Emergency tokens have a limited nominal amount of units and you should not rely on them for more than a few hours.This token is billed onto the meter’s account and the amount is deducted on your next recharge or payment. Using Emergency Tokens is an indulgence which should not be abused or used frequently. The ability to obtain an Emergency Token is subject to various conditions, such as:

• Emergency Tokens may not be available outside of normal office hours.
• Your meter must be registered to your email or mobile number or you need to have a prior positive history of purchases linked to your email or mobile number.
• Permission for such facilities needs to be granted by the property owner or utility provider.
• Meter accounts need to be in good standing and there must be no outstanding balances on an account.
• Previously issued Emergency tokens must be settled before attempting to get more such tokens.
